Your personal trainer is your coach who will create the foundation for your success from day one. Each 1-on-1 session with your trainer is by appointment and scheduled on a recurring basis. Every visit includes a full-body workout, emotional support, education, accountability, awareness, and expert individualized fitness instruction and motivation.
We would love to see you in person at RBD Fitness for our small group training classes! Like many people, you can see the benefit of one-on-one training; however, it’s also common to enjoy the group class setting and all of its energy. You can now experience both! You will receive personalized instruction and direction, and because you’ll be in a small group, you’ll also enjoy the camaraderie.
Online personal training enables you to work virtually with a fitness professional to help you reach your fitness goals. The trainer provides you with a workout plan, nutrition coaching, and motivation and accountability.
Are you experiencing some menopausal symptoms or hormonal changes? Whatever you choose to call them, the symptoms aren’t pleasant. They include hot flashes, night sweats, fatigue, moodiness, thinning of your bones (osteoporosis) or vaginal dryness (sex becomes uncomfortable). In addition, weight gain is also of great concern as we get into our golden, gray-haired years.
That’s not to say that we don’t see our tummies start to expand before menopause (perimenopause). Our bodies start to take on a life of their own and we don’t seem to have much control. Let’s face it – our bodies just look different after thirty-five years of age. What’s more alarming is, as we age, becoming overweight and possibly obese, serious risk factors for heart disease and diabetes.
In addition, many women find their balance becoming a challenge, even taking falls.
And don’t think for a minute that you are fooling yourself if you ignore the signs. Just try getting back into those slim jeans after midlife. In fact, data for overweight population studies show higher obesity rates for women during their postmenopausal years
The journey from perimenopause to post menopause brings a unique set of physiological changes and challenges for women over 35 looking to keep healthy and fit into older age. Having a good understanding of these changes is essential for fitness professionals to help clients structure their exercise and recovery strategies to stay healthy, functional and thriving.
